You Knew Just What I Was There For.

We went to the bush for New Years. We drove five and a half hours North of Melbourne to a festival at a place called Nariel Creek where we camped for the best part of a week, ate jaffles, and French toast and Mi Goreng, swum in the creek, and tried to do barn dances. I also witnessed the most magnificent stars I have ever seen.

It very probably counts as being both the best camping trip I've been on, as well as the best festival I've been to. Yeah, I'd jump at the chance to go again.

Oh, I don't wanna go back to England.

I'll Be Your Mirror.

The Christmas just gone was our first in Australia. It was hot. And we ate crayfish. A giant one, that cost $120. And a turkey dinner. And about five puddings. We ate a lot.

It was weird eating mince pies in 30+ degree heat, but despite that incongruity and the inappropriateness of listening to songs about snow and it being cold outside, it was mainly just marvellous.

Below are some photos from Jesus's birthday.

That's Something That I Understand.

On the twelfth of last month, I returned to Melbourne.
I can't put into words how much I do not want to leave.
